A nationally recognized author, poet, film producer and teacher, Nina F. Gibans was the Executive Director of the Cleveland Area Arts Council (CAAC) in the mid-1970s. The CAAC dedicated itself to promoting the arts throughout Greater Cleveland. Ms. Gibans provided technical assistance to the Summer Arts Program of 1977, a CETA initiative geared for the city's youth.
