Robert T. Bennett served as Perk's campaign manager in the 1971 mayoral elections and was also one of the mayor's closest advisors.
Patrick A. Sweeney, a prominent leader in the Ohio House of Representatives (1967-97), worked very closely with the Perk Administration on many crucial issues.
